A. CHICKENS
Domestic chickens are raised in Al Khalediah Farm inside well-constructed housing. The breeders, chicks and those intended for slaughtering are separately housed. Highly specialized incubators are also used to increase chick production. Over 50,000 chickens are produced annually, in which they are mostly for the Royal Family’s consumption. Excess production is sold in local markets.
B. QUAIL
Al Khalediah Farm has 25 fattening rooms and 5 breeder rooms for quails. Annual production reaches five million quails. The birds are processed as per Islamic rites in our own slaughterhouse where they are immediately packed (chilled or frozen) before delivery.
Quails are available in trays of four to six pieces. These are delivered in local and supermarkets in the Kingdom. In addition, quail eggs are sold in attractive trays.
C. SHEEP
Al Khalediah Farm is famous as one of the best-equipped sheep units in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Highly qualified staffs supervise the breeding of the local sheep (Nejde) and crossbreed ones.
The sheep farm has a monthly production of 1000-1400 lambs and sales of 800-1200 heads every month.
Al Khalediah sheep farm is under a strict quarantine and disciplined health program supported by the Ministry of Agriculture to ensure the highest quality of meat for the consumers..
